I love big ideas. They are never easy to make and only created by those who dare to be different and brave. Big ideas walk and talk different. They create conversation and can stop it. Big ideas make us react, and draw in the best talent to make them breathe.

ABOUT ME

I began my career at RKCR/Y&R in 1996, picking up a Gold Lion for my St Mungo’s interactive cinema commercial in my first year. After two years I was promoted to the board, at the time Y&R’s youngest board member in history. In 2004 I moved on to Saatchi & Saatchi, with Dave Henderson as joint Creative Directors on Carlsberg and Toyota uk. There we produced the multi-award winning Carlsberg ‘Old Lions’ campaign as well as notable campaigns for the NSPCC and Visa. In 2008 we moved to DDB as Creative Directors on COI, Budweiser and Kwik-Fit, and created award wining work for Volkswagen, Budweiser, Harvey Nichols, The Economist, Kwik-Fit, Tropicana and Virgin Media.

In 2011 we joined MullenLowe London ( formerly DLKWLowe ) as joint Executive Creative Directors and quickly turned the agency around with notable work for Microloan, Halfords, Morrisons, and Unilever. During my time there I have helped win multiple pitches including Persil from BBH, The British Heart Foundation from Grey London and the Post Office. I have been named in Campaign Magazine's top twenty creative directors and have produced effective, award wining work for the majority of our clients.

In 2016 MullenLowe London was named 'Most Effective Agency of the Year' at the inaugural UK Effie awards for work on MicroLoan and the Electoral Commission and followed it up by retaining the title in 2017. I currently sit on the MullenLowe Global Creative Council and have Judged at all the major awards shows including D&AD, Cannes Lions, The British Arrows, Campaign BIG and LIA. I have also helped to build MullenLowe's global in-house content facility YETI.  When I’m not working you will find me at home in East Sussex with my wife, two boys and our dog or sitting in a boat fly fishing for trout.
